Build scans, consent surfaces, and audit evidence for Indian organisations implementing the DPDP Act 2023.
About the role
ComplyDP turns DPDP obligations into product: public-surface scans, notices, consent, grievance flows, and exportable evidence. Engineers sit with advocates and privacy practitioners so the statute and the software stay aligned.
You will ship features across our Next.js frontend and FastAPI backend, with Supabase for data and clear audit trails for every finding. We care about defensible documentation as much as clean code.
What you will do
- Build and harden scan pipelines, consent surfaces, and dashboard workflows
- Ship TypeScript and Python changes with tests and readable evidence exports
- Improve reliability of public-surface checks mapped to Act sections and Rules
- Partner with legal and privacy teammates on product requirements
- Keep PRs small, reviewable, and tied to observable user outcomes
What you bring
- Strong TypeScript and/or Python experience building web products
- Comfort with REST APIs, Postgres, and modern React or Next.js
- Bias toward clear evidence, logging, and operational simplicity
- Interest in privacy, compliance, or regulated-industry software
- Ability to work hybrid from Bengaluru with async written communication
