Write Python connectors and run them with Docker and Kubernetes, in our cloud and on-prem inside customer networks.
About the role
You own the connectors that talk to customer systems, and the packaging that runs them. The same connector has to start in our cloud, in a customer cluster, and on a host that cannot phone home.
The job is Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and on-prem installs. You write the connector, put it in an image, and make that image run on someone else's network: jump hosts, change tickets, air-gapped installs, service accounts scoped to the week.
We hire people who are comfortable in Python and who have shipped connectors. Configuring an integration platform, without building the connector, is a weaker fit.
What you will do
- Build Python connectors for customer systems and keep them working in production
- Package those connectors with Docker so the same image runs in our cloud, a customer VPC, or fully air-gapped on-prem
- Run them on Kubernetes, including installs that stay inside a customer's cluster
- Take an on-prem deployment through a client's change process and leave it running on their terms
- Make a failed connector say what stopped, because on a client site you often cannot open a shell
What you bring
- Comfortable writing and debugging Python
- Connectors you have built and run yourself
- Docker used to ship something that ran outside your laptop
- Kubernetes used to run a workload, including an on-prem or customer-cluster install
- Experience getting software onto a network you do not control
Bonus
- Air-gapped or regulated on-prem installs you completed yourself
- Helm or an operator for a customer-hosted deployment
Weaker fit
- Platform work without connectors you wrote
- Configuring an integration platform without building the connector
- Python limited to one-off scripts
Standard vesting
ESOP grants vest over four years from the start date in the grant. Nothing vests in the first year. One quarter vests on the first anniversary, then an equal part each month.
| When | Vested |
|---|---|
| Months 0–11 | 0% |
| Month 12 | 25% of the grant |
| Each month from 13 to 48 | 1/48 of the grant |
| Month 48 | 100% |
On a grant of 48 options: none until month 12, then 12, then 1 each month through month 48. The offer sets the number of options.
