Advise clients on DPDP readiness, gaps, and implementation as a consulting engagement with ComplyDP.
About the role
This is a consulting role. You advise fiduciaries and processors on the DPDP Act and Rules: where they stand, what to fix first, and how to show evidence.
Engagements cover startups through enterprises. You use ComplyDP’s scans and workflows, and you stay responsible for the advice, not for building the product.
What you will do
- Lead client readiness reviews, gap assessments, and implementation plans
- Explain fiduciary and processor duties in language a non-lawyer can act on
- Shape notices, consent, rights handling, and vendor diligence for each engagement
- Turn findings into a sequenced plan the client’s legal and security teams can run
- Hand product gaps back to the ComplyDP team when the statute and the software diverge
What you bring
- Consulting or in-house experience delivering privacy or DPDP programmes
- Working knowledge of the DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025
- Comfort advising legal, security, and business stakeholders in the same room
- A record of written opinions or remediation plans clients actually used
- Ability to work with the Bengaluru team across client engagements
