About the role
ComplyDP is built by advocates and engineers together. Legal judgment shapes notices, grievance handling, scan methodology, and how we advise startups through enterprises on India data protection.
You will work on opinions, client-facing guidance, and product copy that must stay faithful to the Act and Rules 2025 while remaining usable for non-lawyers.
What you will do
- Draft and review notices, opinions, and client guidance under the DPDP Act
- Map statute and Rules to product checks, methodology text, and remediation advice
- Support sales and delivery with clear answers on fiduciary and processor duties
- Flag interpretive risk early when product or research claims go too far
- Contribute to public research and dispute corrections with methodological integrity
What you bring
- Enrolment as an Advocate in India with privacy or technology law exposure
- Working knowledge of the DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025
- Clear writing for legal and business audiences without filler
- Comfort collaborating with engineers on product and evidence design
- Ability to work hybrid from Bengaluru with client-facing professionalism
